Here at Glo de Vie, we offer skincare products as well as treatments. Of all the skincare lines we have had the opportunity to try, Glo Therapeutics, PCA Skin, and Revision Skincare are the brands we trust most. In fact, these are the very products we use on your skin during our treatments — not only do we trust their efficacy, but we know they will offer consistent results with home use.
Our treatments and our select group of products work in synthesis to create the best possible results. So, which products pair best with which treatments? Here are a few suggestions:
- For the best result from a series of Exilis Skin Tightening for Eyes, be sure to add an eye cream to your regimen. We carry Eye Restore by Glo Therapeutics, as well as Teamine Eye Complex by Revision Skincare. Both have some ingredients in common, such as peptides and Vitamin K. And, each addresses dryness, fine lines, puffiness and dark circles. Our Aestheticians or Nurse Practitioner can help you make an informed choice about which of our eye creams would be most effective for your skin.
- Following a chemical peel, particularly a Perfect Derma Peel, the PCA Post-Procedure Solution kit takes the guesswork out of how best to pamper your skin during its regenerative process. Each kit contains a gentle cleanser, a soothing balm with 1% hydrocortisone, an SPF 30 sunblock, and two moisturizers (one lighter, one richer). Each product has been tested and approved for use on post-procedure skin.
- For daily use in general, but especially following a laser treatment such as Laser Genesis or Clear + Brilliant Mini-Fraxel, our top recommendation is a sunblock made for the face. We carry two: Glo Therapeutics’ Oil-Free SPF 40+, and Revision Skincare’s Intellishade (in original and matte finishes). Laser-treated skin is especially vulnerable to the sun. Glo’s Oil-Free SPF 40+ is a non-greasy formula that blends seamlessly, and can be mixed with your favorite moisturizer. Revision’s Intellishade is an SPF 45 self-adjusting tinted moisturizer, with age-fighting antioxidants. Your aesthetician will be able to best advise which of our sunblocks is right for your post-procedure skin.
When your treatment is complete, you can count on your aesthetician to guide your choice of products that will best complement the effects of your treatment and protect your skin. And of course, if you have any questions, please ask! We love to help! (919) 510-5919.
