New COVID-19 Cleaning, Sanitation and Safety Protocols

Your health and safety are our top priority!  Glo de Vie Med Spa continually monitors the status of COVID-19 in our community and heed the latest recommendations and requirements set forth by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state and local health authorities.  All protocols are subject to change.

Staff Protocols

Staff Members will be tested regularly for COVID-19 with IgM/IgG Rapid Test which detects both early and late markers of IgM/IgG antibodies in humans to verify diagnosis of infection.

Staff Members are screened daily upon arrival to the med spa to include temperatures taken and health screen questionnaire completion.

Staff Members exhibiting any two or more symptoms following our “Healthy You” policy and/or have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will not be permitted to enter the building.

All Staff Members will be required to wear face mask protection when interacting with clients and when less than six feet away from fellow staff members per social distancing guidelines.

Service Providers will wear additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as one-time use gloves (with handwashing in between clients), N-95 masks, face shields and antimicrobial scrub uniforms when performing services.

 

Client Protocols

Clients are required to wear face mask protection in the common areas of the med spa.

Clients will be asked to remain in their vehicle upon arrival to the med spa and will be health screened before entering the building following our “Healthy You” policy.  This will include completion of health questionnaire by phone and temperature check using tympanic thermometer (ear check form) outside front door prior to entry.

Clients exhibiting any two or more symptoms following our “Healthy You” policy and/or have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will not be permitted to enter the building and instructed to reschedule his/her appointment to a later date.

Clients will be escorted by a Staff Member directly to a treatment room or to a private waiting area accordingly upon building entry.

Clients will remain in their designated space for the duration of their med spa visit unless instructed otherwise by a Staff Member.

Clients are required to register for Client Portal prior to med spa visit as part of our “no contact” check-in/out process to ensure all E-records (medical history and consents) are up-to-date and so all transactions can be handled electronically.  As part of this protocol we will require a credit card on file to complete our “touchless” check-out process and to hold any appointment reservation in our med spa following our Cancellation Policy.

 

Cleaning and Sanitation Protocols

All door handles, countertops, equipment, guest chairs, treatment beds, etc. will be cleaned and sanitized with the highest medical grade Cavicide disinfectant that is effective against TB, HBV, HIV, SARS, H1N1, viruses (hydrophilic and lipophilic), bacteria (including MRSA and VRE) and fungi; typically used in NICU, operating rooms, patient care areas and laboratories.

All treatment beds will be covered with consistent high-quality exam table paper which provides optimal barrier and infection control prevention and changed out after single use.

All linens to include wraps are cleaned after single use.

Medical Grade H13 True HEPA Filtration Air Purifiers are installed in main treatment room areas which will turn over air every fifteen minutes.

 

Safety Protocols

Following CDC and state social distancing guidelines and for our safety and yours, guests will not be permitted to accompany clients during their med spa treatment appointment or wait in any one area of the med spa.
