Updated May 15, 2021 – SARS COVID-19 Cleaning, Sanitation and Safety Protocols

Your health and safety are our top priority! Glo de Vie Med Spa continually monitors the status of COVID-19 in our community and heed the latest recommendations and requirements set forth by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state and local health authorities. All protocols are subject to change.

 

Staff Protocols

Masks are optional for Staff Members that are fully vaccinated against SARS COVID-19.

Service Providers will wear one-time use gloves (with handwashing in between clients), antimicrobial scrub uniforms and masks (optional if vaccinated) when performing services.

Staff Members will conduct a general health self-assessment daily.  Staff Members health status when exhibiting any two or more symptoms following our “Healthy You” policy and/or have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and said Staff Member will only be permitted in the med spa under the discretion of management. 

 

Client Protocols

Per current CDC guidelines, in general, people are considered fully vaccinated against SARS COVID-19:

  • 2 weeks after their 2nd dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
  • 2 weeks after a single dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

If you have been fully vaccinated, mask use in the med spa is optional.  In addition, you will no longer be required to conduct a health screen or temperature check upon arrival for your med spa appointment as long you remain symptom-free per our HEALTHY YOU Policy.

Clients are advised not to schedule a med spa treatment appointment same day of a prescheduled vaccination against SARS COVID-19.

Clients that are not vaccinated are recommended to wear face mask protection in the common areas of the med spa.

Regarding cosmetic dermal filler injectables; clients are advised to wait 2 weeks prior to first dose of vaccination and 2 weeks after final dose of vaccination against SARS COVID-19 before proceeding with treatment. 

All clients post vaccination for SARS COVID-19 that may become immunocompromised and/or experiencing any adverse health symptoms in general are asked to reschedule their appointment to a later date per our HEALTHY YOU policy.  This will not only ensure your health, safety, well-being, and treatment efficacy, but that you receive a true, relaxing experience at your med spa visit.

 

Cleaning and Sanitation Protocols

All door handles, countertops, equipment, guest chairs, treatment beds, etc. will be cleaned and sanitized with the highest medical grade Cavicide disinfectant that is effective against TB, HBV, HIV, SARS, H1N1, viruses (hydrophilic and lipophilic), bacteria (including MRSA and VRE) and fungi; typically used in NICU, operating rooms, patient care areas and laboratories.

All treatment beds will be covered with consistent high-quality exam table paper which provides optimal barrier and infection control prevention and changed out after single use.

All linens to include wraps are cleaned after single use.

Medical Grade H13 True HEPA Filtration Air Purifiers are installed in main treatment room areas which will turn over air every fifteen minutes.
